Treasures Will Travel!
Below Is A Dresser My Mom Found Curbside When I Was About 15 Years Old.
She Brought It Home, Where I Then Transformed It Into The Treasure It Is Today!
My Grandparents Travel Around The United States In Their Motor Home. I Thought What Better Than To Mod Podge An Atlas To It?!
The Dresser Was In Great Condition And I Didn't Want To Make It Too Busy, So I Only Put Atlas' To Accent The Piece.
Just So Happens We Found The Perfect Picture And Frame To Go Along With It!
Looks Like I've Had A Bit Of A Creative Side Ever Since I Was A Wee Little One.
:P
That is so cool, what a fantastic idea. I love the atlas idea...

at first glance i could not understand what you have done to make this dresser side seem all colored but its a nice way to teach kids to know maps, the chest looks very good, very creative attempt and a great way for storage
ReplyDeleteso perfect! that frame rocks!
ReplyDeleteThis a fun project! It turned out wonderfully! Hopped over from Garage Salen Party!
ReplyDeleteThis is awesome..I was thinking about something like this on a small dresser with scrap book paper. Love it! Thanks for joining me. I would love if you add my link to your post...thanks:)
ReplyDeleteSuch a great idea!! It turned out gorgeous- and so so charming! Coming over from Debbies- nice to meet you! :)
ReplyDeleteCute! I heart maps and I heart Mod Podge, perfect combo in my opinion:) And you made it look classy, not trashy- sometimes that's hard to do.
ReplyDeleteMy mom used to take us girls out the night before "big trash day" in our neighborhood to find "treasures". Though it was embarassing back then, I love that she taught us such resourcefullness. Sometimes those are the best finds- and they're free!
Great job!
Awesome idea! Don't you just love Mod Podge?
